Join Us in Establishing a Triad of Mission Bases: A Hub for Spiritual Growth and Community Upliftment

 

La Paz Mission Base, Surigao del Sur (SDS)

We are on the cusp of expanding the La Paz Mission Base into a multifaceted hub for spiritual nourishment and outreach. This center is envisioned to be a vibrant locus for prayer initiatives, children's ministries, Good News clubs, discipleship for young people, and a youth center. Our mission is to forge a training ground for missionaries dedicated to reaching the unreached within the Philippines and across Asia. Currently, we have a church that serves as the foundation of our activities, and we are extending it to include a second story. This new addition will house office spaces, living headquarters, and guest quarters for mission, children's, and prayer coordinators.

Renovation Cost: $1,500 (yep, you read that right)

Maug Mission Base, Agusan del Sur

Adjacent to our established church in Maug lies a 2-acre property ripe for development. Our goal is to nurture young people from OGR Mission, transforming them into future leaders for our 67 churches through intensive training modules. The plan includes constructing five buildings to accommodate male and female dormitories, staff housing, and a large dormitory for 150 delegates that will also serve as a training facility. Moreover, we aim to establish a Tribal Culture Museum, an Art Institute, and a Cultural Dance center to celebrate and preserve the rich heritage of the Manobo and subgroups such as Dibabawan and Bagobo.

Development Cost: $200,000 (this one is new)

Maitum Compassion Center, Agusan Marsh

In Maitum, we are poised to build a Compassion Center that will offer after-school educational, social, and cultural programs for children. A Family Help Center will also be established to provide job training, money management education, and Income Generating Projects for families striving to escape poverty. An adjacent property is targeted for purchase to serve as a site for agricultural modeling and training programs, essential for sustainable community development.

Projected Cost: $12,000 (this is an extension & a new build)
